We had a fantastic time attending PhysCell2026, a meeting bringing together researchers working at the interface of physics and cell biology, which was an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest advances in biophysical approaches and to discuss how different technologies can be combined to gain deeper insights into biological systems.
We particularly enjoyed discussing the potential for expansion microscopy to complement biophysical experiments, helping researchers investigate the relationship between physical properties and biological structure.
We were also given the opportunity to introduce Visualise.bio and our work to the field, highlighting how automation and quality control solutions can help make ExM more accessible, reliable, and reproducible.
Thanks to the organisers and attendees for the engaging discussions. We look forward to continuing conversations with researchers interested in applying expansion microscopy to biophysical and mechanobiology research.
